학교 소개
퀸스 대학교 벨파스트(Queen's University Belfast)는 영국 북아일랜드 벨파스트의 대학교입니다. 약칭 QUB 라고도 불립니다. 1845년 공식적인 대학으로 승인되었고 1849년 퀸즈 칼리지 벨파스트라는 이름으로 개교했습니다. 벨파스트의 7개의 문화 지역 가운데 한 곳 인 퀸스 구역의 중심에 자리 잡고 있으며, 2006년 영국에서 연구를 선도하는 20개 명문 대학으로 구성된 ‘러셀 그룹(Russell Group)’에 와 영국 연방 대학 협회 및 유럽 대학 협회 일원입니다.
인문학, 사회 과학, 예술, 공학, 의학, 생명과학 계열 등 20개 단과 대학이 있고, 300개 이상의 광범위한 분야에서 학위를 수여합니다. 2018년 QS 세계 대학 랭킹에서 180위권 내로 진입하며 세계 1% 명문대학교 반열에 올랐습니다.
