학교 소개
선더랜드 대학교 (University of Sunderland) 는 잉글랜드 북동부의 선덜랜드에 위치한 공공 연구 대학입니다.
선더랜드 테크니컬 칼리지 (Sunderland Technical College)로 1901년에 시립 대학으로 설립 되었으며. 1992년에 정식으로 연구 대학교에 대한 지위를 얻었습니다. 한국 학생들에게는 약대와 코스메틱 전공으로 잘 알려져 있는 대학입니다.
2019년도의 The Complete University Guide League Tables (대학 순위 평가)에 따르면 University of Sunderland는 131 개 중 99 위로 전년 129 개 중 102 위에 올랐습니다. 또한 2001 년 가디언지 (The Guardian)에 의해 영국 최고의 신생 대학으로 인정 받았으며, 2005 년에는 The Times Higher Education Supplement 에서 최고의 학생 경험을 제공하는 영국 최고의 대학으로 선정되었습니다. Times Higher Education Supplement Awards 2012에서 '올해의 대학'후보에 오른 6 개 대학 중 한 곳 이기도 합니다.
